VC Funding & Bootstrapping: Contradiction?

VC funding and bootstrapping are not necessarily contradictory. They solve different capital needs and create different operating constraints. A business that can reach meaningful scale through customer revenue may benefit from staying capital efficient, while a company facing a large market opportunity that requires significant upfront investment may have a different financing requirement. The key is understanding what the business actually needs before choosing the capital structure.
