What APIs do you need for your application?

Hi everyone,

I'm a tech founder and recently build my first startup at the beginning of this year.

Although I love to create websites and web applications as a full stack developer, I like more the technical aspects of building that building the final product.

In that sense my next idea for a project is a startup that provides api services and yes, I know there is several out there, but the market is also big.

So I ask my fellow tech founders and developers in general, when building an application what are for you the APIs that you always seem to need?

My idea is to provide them at a lower cost but still at a high quality level.

    SCIM.

I think every product that registers users should seriously consider implementing SCIM: a protocol for creating and updating users, and assigning these to groups, and many other related functionalities.

Especially if an application is targeted at enterprises, SCIM provides the benefit of allowing them to manage users in a central place. For example, when someone joins the company a system can automatically create the user with SCIM in several connected systems.
