Would love some feedback on this, I'm aware of app store optimization, I was wondering if there's a low cost, slow but steady way of marketing mobile apps.
If anyone's wondering - it's in the Personal Health/Self Help niche.
Thanks and Stay safe!
Creating content is key, and I think the product you have build is perfect for that. Are you able to work with different personal health influencers on Twitter or Youtube? Perhaps not working with them if it costs $$$, but seeing what they talk about or what is interesting to their users? Then fast-follow in creating content that has a lot of hit rate. How about creating a movement (i.e. What if you chronicle your day to day progress with a hashtag? and get other people to do the same?) People are on IG and TikTok a lot these days, there are a lot of viral activities that you can have people share that's related to your product.
I get the content creation part, but how do I increase the contents reach? Without spending thousands of dollars. Like for a meditation app, what possible content could I create and how would increase the impressions. Influencees could be possible without paying a lot of money.
Build a community, offer unique insights, and keep growing you organic/owned audiences (aka not paid). It's not a silver-bullet that will overnight 100x your downloads, but I think it's an important thing to keep building your audience. For example, you can start a group daily of daily medidation and accountability on instagram or zoom (both free). Maybe a group that meets for 5 min every morning to go over everyone's intentions for the day. I tend to like writing so I try to build communities through Medium/blogs because that's what I enjoy but it takes a long time to get discovered.
