What is the "UNKNOWN" source in PODTRAC analytics?

👋 Hi there,

I've had some wonderful growth on my podcast - or so it seemed at least - and discovered that most of it was driven by a source category Podtrac shows as "unknown". Most of the traffic seems to come from my Squarespace website where I host the podcast so it may be that Unknown refers to listeners directly listening there on my site. However, I am no longer sure if I can trust these numbers.
Has anyone experienced something similar?
