whatifi - Building in Public - Week 8?

Constantly flip-flopping between product and business. This past week was much more about business, customer discovery and product positioning.

Top Tip - give OBV!OUSLY AWESOME by April Dunford a listen. Has me re-thinking my product positioning.

Image above is me shaking up my messaging and really zoning in on the painpoint - any thoughts? Too crass/unprofessional? Or on point?

Wins:
• onboarded a new co-op student
• great customer discovery/validation calls with 3 fractional CFOs that specialize in advising startups
• major backend rewrite now in testing;
• approved new UI design

Losses:
• not making any headway on social media posting; Twitter... LinkedIN... This building-in-public things is fickle and time-consuming... torn about where my focus should be
• part-time designers too busy to hit sprint goals. Possibly losing my semi-full-time front end dev to another full time gig. Hard to maintain momentum.
• no luck/interest in expanding the Founder team; looking for someone with marketing/sales chops
