I look at a lot of new product listings every week, and I've noticed I decide in about two seconds whether to click or scroll past.
For me it's usually the tagline. If I can't tell what it does and who it's for, I'm gone, no matter how good the screenshots are.
What's the thing that makes you stop? A clear one-liner, a good screenshot, a demo video, the price, a founder you recognize?
Asking because I'm writing up tips for makers listing on IndieNeed, and I'd rather base them on what real people say than on my own habits.
