So I’ve had 25 fraudulent transactions and I’ve refunded them and blocked the customer but I’m still out of pocket cause stripe charged me for it, doesn’t really seem fair to me to lose money by doing the right thing ...
Did you see their new chargeback protection? https://stripe.com/radar/chargeback-protection
It’s only available for Europe and USA companies we are Australia based
Ah didn't realize that. Have you played around with radar at all? Might be worthwhile setting some stricter rules and verify a sale before you accept it.
Yeah I have now :)) learning experience I guess
Right on. All of this is a learning experience.

Hey,
So I’m being attached by this person, it’s obvious fraud, I haven’t waited for the charge backs I’ve just refunded the payments straight away.
That’s what stripe recommends to do.
But I am getting charged the transaction fees.
And this person makes a lot of payments
Annoying

I have tried a lot of things, they use a lot of cards different devices and locations, it’s obvious to a human it’s fraud but not to a rule based system.
Yeah I’ve added some rules a lot get blocked but still a few make it trough.
I mean stripe should be better at this, I’ve been doing the right thing and refunded all the transactions. What I’m annoyed about is that they are just happy to take the charges, and pass everything down to me.
I get it they are a payment processor, but someone like this can burry you in stripe fees if they are persistent enough...
