Hello IndieHackers!
If you haven’t met me I’m Tyler, a product manager by day and building Centori nights and weekends.
Through Centori I’ve been educating marketers and founders on how to build and manage effective SEO strategies.
One thing I’ve found through my conversations with my clients, and folks here, is while there is no shortage of (outdated) SEO advice, there is a serious lack of practical application of that advice.
So I was wondering: would a series of SEO case studies/examples be useful?
Something more than “look at this site structures their blog” and more of an in-depth analysis of the website, who they are likely going after, how they structured the site and developed their content, and the results.
The goal is to provide a clear blueprint for how the site thought strategically about SEO, and provide a playbook for how you can too.
I have a few clients I can start with, but there are other well known websites I want to analyze too.
This is a lot of work though, so I want to know: would you be interested in reading these? If so, drop a comments so I know how to get in touch with you!
Hi Tyler, I've been trying to learn SEO over the last few weeks and totally agree. There's a lot of good info out there, but I could use some practical examples/walkthroughs to get a better grasp on how to apply it to my own projects.
Following up here (as it's been a while and I switched up my idea for this post), I decided to start a website from scratch and send folks updates, videos, and tutorials as I build the SEO strategy for it - would you want to be included in that?
Super! Once we've got some written up I'll share them, I'd love to know how they help you!
