Sounds like a failure right?
Wrong.
It created new paying customers for his business.
And that's all that matters.
Social media companies want you to believe that only engagement and likes matters when you post on their platform.
But the truth is that, when you use social media in a professional capacity, the only thing that really matters is revenue - if your post generates revenue, it's a success.
Posts that generate the most likes and engagement are often the ones that generate the least revenue.
When I look back at my posts and trace the revenue that I generate from them - this often holds up to be true (example here - https://www.indiehackers.com/post/steal-the-tweet-that-made-me-4-figures-in-revenue-with-less-than-100-followers-on-twitter-cd1b6afe0b)
Long story short - focus less on trying to get engagement and likes with your social media posts and instead focus on putting out messages that will generate revenue for your business (how to do that is the subject of another post some other time).
