Hey dear Indiehackers,
I'm currently validating my idea about a managed in-app currency solution.
I believe that a lot of business processes and business apps benefit from the one or other sort of gamification.
Furthermore, mobile apps with gamification elements as well as mobile games in general are a huge part of the economy.
In-app or In-game economies are a proven way for user retention, motivation - and in the case of business apps - user outcomes (due to retention and motivation).
(I've done some initial steps of validation by engaging with app-devs and game-devs on reddit as well as some older communities. While not having an overwhelming amount of "yay that's the greatest idea ever", I got at least 20 positive replies, which is enough for me to at least go to the landing page level).
While designing the in-app economy is part of any app and game design, the implementation of these currencies is not that easy and poses quite a huge security risk - especially if you allow to exchange economy elements for real money. Because people are incentivized to hack your solution, to get in-app money.
So, two dedicated problems: Resources needed to implement and maintain the currency/economy backend and security.
The third problem: You actually want to monitor your app economy and currency, to see how they are doing, finding about inflation etc. In a self-managed solution, you need to add analytics capabilities - again with a lot of effort and resources.
The fourth and final problem: You will get customer complaints about lost transactions, maybe even fraud.
Having a nice API with developer-friendly SDKs to add in-app currencies with only some lines of code.
Fully managed and secure. Analytics tools help to monitor your economy and provide observability to help you with troubleshooting.
Fraud detection features inform you automatically about suspicious transactions and players.

Please note, that I'm currently only in the validation phase - so there is actually no solution. So the sign-up form will send an E-Mail to me. Please don't expect the solution to work yet :-)
It would be really helpful to get feedback about:
Thank you very much for your feedback! If you want me to feedback your solution or landing page, please drop me a PM. I'll also actively scan the Landing Page Feedback group to provide my feedbacks.
Love this idea - I had a similar idea back in the day but never launched to the public after failing YCombinator's selection process.
I think your page is great here are some pointers:
❌Your header is divided in 2 parts with colors, weird. You could use your data point as an opener instead. ie. 52% of apps... make your app do.... in just 10 minutes.
✅I love those cards "easy to create" etc etc. I think you should add product design mockups to make sure people understand what those features will look like
✅ Good that you have testimonials, but they don't feel real. How can you improve them?
❌Dont put testimonials on a carousel, just line them up - it's only 3 afterall
Nitpick: Pays for itself thousandfold - just say Pays for itself 1000x over. Numbers are better than long words
Hey thanks for the very valuable remarks! All of them make sense, thanks.
Can you share some details about your solution back than? And the reason for yc to reject?
If I can help you in feedbacking/testing your current endeavor, happy to help.
