Shortcast

After a successful Beta launch in the month of October 2021 with more than 200 early users, we are set to develop and go live with the mobile apps both for android and iOS by end of December 2021.

It has been an amazing journey, full of learning from the start. Now the team is even more excited and hopeful to reach an even wider audience with the launch of mobile apps.

In just a span of one month since launching the MVP on 30th August 2021, we were able to onboard 50 early users and 10 creators who have a cumulative following of 500,000 on Instagram and Youtube.

The learning out of their usage of the MVP was that

• 100% of users found the process of creation and sharing of audio to be easy and simple
• Nearly 80% of the fans of these 10 creators found their content to be easy to follow and engage.

Started building an MVP to validate my idea of Shortcast. Built a landing page on softr.io - https://www.short-cast.club, onboarded a friend of mine who is a tech wizard to build the MVP.

We started working on the MVP on 10th August 2021 and it was ready by 30th August 2021.

While building CreatorScape for every type of creator catering to every medium of creation - audio, video, and text. While especially catering to the audio creators I came across a deeper problem even before solving for monetization, that was CREATION.

That is where the idea of Shortcast was born.

Shortcast is the idea of enabling sharing your thoughts, ideas and more using voice as easily as sharing a tweet.

Started building https://creatorscape.carrd.co/, CreatorScape. A creator monetization and creator fund platform that enabled a promised way of generating revenue for each creator right from their 1st follower.

Onboarded 100 creators and successfully helped each achieve $100 revenue in the first month.
