For a long time I have wanted to build and maintain my own products for a living.

Sure, I can make great money contracting as a developer. I have even been employed as "Tech Lead" and "Solution Architect".

At one stage in my career I even ran my own business building custom software solutions for random clients.

The problem with all these scenarios is that as soon as my hands leave the keyboard, the income stops.

Don't get me wrong, I love being a software engineer. But I'm 45 now, and don't always have the time to be learning the latest dot JS or whatever the kids are into these days.

I have no shortage of ideas or abilities, it's time now to learn and grow the non technical aspects of being an indie hacker and get some passive income flowing.
