Modern Budgeting Tools for families

Hello fellow indiehackers, I was wondering if anyone here knows of a free tool, or SAAS that makes monthly budget/expense tracking easy for families?

Right now I export CSVs, manually categorize the type of expense since banks don't usually have the same or any categories per row. Then I import them into a master expense/budget sheet to see where I'm sitting overall. Add in some fancy pie charts etc.. :)

I figure I could automate the importing, and reporting side easily with a few days of work and turn it into some type of desktop app with electron. But I rather not do this if there is something out there. So far what I've found online is too detailed or too much or way too legacy. Also, I would probably prefer an offline app that is a 1 time purchase (or free), instead of some type of online subscription service which stores the data online.

Any feedback?
