Ask IH: Designing for Developers
I am a backend developer and fine with the javascripts and the htmls.
I am not good at design.
I am willing to learn.
Is there a book, course, interactive resource, roadmap, or other media that folks can recommend?
Any experience would be greatly appreciated.

I have talked to several co-workers about this as I do both design and development. I am thinking about putting something together, possibly a book. What types of things are you looking to learn?

It took me 3 months or less to develop the "fun stuff", the backend to test the RAT/MVP. The last 3 months I have been balking, due to fear, uncertainty, and more fear, about how to develop this landing page, homepage, etc, even with the assistance of Bootstrap. The end result was bound to be unappealing, embarrassing because I have never taken the time to practice UI/UX/design. Look at the hyperlinks, the hover style is black on black, oh dear. I know the how to write HTML/CSS/javascript but because I have decided I will never know how to make clean design and look like Uber/Airbnb/etc, I have taken the safe route and stopped tring. Rant over.
First and foremost, I want to know that you needn't be a design wiz to make appealing websites.
