Hi Everyone,
Postchi is an email delivery dashboard for Amazon SES. Think of it as Mandrill, MailGun or Sendgrid but running on top of Amazon SES. You can send transactional emails of your product through the Postchi API and get open/click tracking, full email activities and templates. It provides you the cheap pricing of AWS combined with the UI and convenience of other mail delivery platforms.
AWS SES is not very convenient to use and you need to dedicate lots of time to setup proper analytics and it was not supporting click/open tracking until a few days ago. Postchi provides a nicer and more intuitive GUI on top of SES.
I appreciate your thoughts regarding the idea, landing page and anything else.

Great idea! When I was looking around for email services, I always wanted to use SES but the fact that there was no easy way to see the stats kinda like mandrill and sparkpost allows, I was discouraged from using it. I wish you the best of luck with it!
I am curious about the tech side of things though, how did you architecture this app? I assume the app needs to handle a lot of events, cause I imagine big customers will send mass emails out. That your reports needs to reflect within a timely manner.

Regarding the tech side, you're right. it needs to handle lots of events. I'm taking things simple now and everything is synchronous until the load gets higher. Currently sending around 2000 emails per day so it's not too much. Probably on larger volumes requires more optimisation. Also, for transactional emails you normally have single email with single recipient so it is one at a time. With my current load I'm not really worried about that part!
