What is the best format for an Indie Hackers Meetup?
Hey guys just wondering what you think the best format of a meetup is?
We have had general beers and a fireside chat format. I know other meetups have done the unconference format and a hackathon.
Also, what do people this about Indie Office hours with people in your area. To keep people accountable every week and get feedback? I think it could work well.
I've attended some game dev events and one of the most fun things is that there's an opportunity to play games that people are working on.
It's not as formal as a talk but an option to present the latest version of your project would be good for feedback and accountability.
Yeah , that could work. Or maybe a pitch if you don't have a working product
Having missed the initial beers sessions, I might be a bit behind on things.
If I understand what you are talking to as regards the Indie Office hours it sounds like a great idea, though wonder how it would be executed. Not sure if you have a list of people and locations etc

A hackathon sounds good also though again how to approach.
Again feel like I am missing out on some context from the intial beer sessions.
We might do one more indie beers session before christmas and see for the new year. I think the speaker works well, its just a matter of getting a good speaker
We actually called ours 'IndieBeers' in London! Great format :)
