Show IH: ⏳ Memento Mori - a little stoic reminder
Hello IH!
I made a simple 1 page app around the concept of Memento Mori.
It is a simple countdown that people can set as their homepage to remember life is short.

I saw that Patrick Collison (CEO of Stripe) had a countdown on his computer, and I wanted one too so I made this page to freshen up my coding skills (I’m not a developer originally).
The next step is to allow the creation of countdowns for pretty much anything (eg vacation, wedding, PH Launch etc)
How do you think I could improve it?
I made it just for myself without any monetization in mind, but do you think there is an opportunity to monetize it and how?

I like it. A few years back I was waiting to move house and I wanted a desktop count down timer but couldn't find one.
The hourglass glyph doesn't render for me (Firefox / chrome on Linux).
I once had the idea that a similar view, but with an updating 'hour glass' would be pretty cool - maybe you could incorporate that.

Love it. Why don't you figure out what your goal is with it, and then try to achieve that goal?
Monetisation could be one of those goals. I personally would go for distribution by making it super awesome to see everyday.
Example - Making it into a Chrome Extension that opens on every new tab.
Well my goal was just to build this for myself.

I was just wondering if there was any way to solve a real problem and build something bigger.
Otherwise it will remain a little free side project like it is now :)
