Chrome plugin to focus buying power for important causes

Hi all- full disclosure.. this is firmly in the idea stage and I'm looking for collaborators.

I'd like to make a product that helps you align your purchases with causes you care about.

So for example, you want to oppose Kavanaugh's appointment to the Supreme Court. Susan Collins, the Senator from Maine, could be the deciding vote. The product could flag all L.L. Bean products (made in Maine) and direct you to alternatives that are more inline with your beliefs.

Anyone interested in something like this? Does it spark any ideas?
