Licensing/Franchising your business from an indie hacker or partnering up for expansion

I would like to start a side business, but I don't have an idea which feels right.
I was thinking that actually "franchising" a business from a fellow indie hacker would be a good idea, because you already know that it is working and you can be mentored by the founder.
The original founder get's the benefits of new fresh ideas and has his share in the new franchised business.
I think this can be applied to businesses which are not yet operating worldwide or where the software can be used in other niches.
What do you think?
By the way I am located in Germany (I am also a russian speaker) and looking for a small project to start with projected revenues from 1000 to 10000 monthly. It should be possible to start on side with a limited time and money budget and be mostly digital. I can code web, javascript and react native apps. Areas of interest which come to my mind but not limited to would be sports, nutrition, self tracking, personal growth and crypto :)

My product Archetype has a reseller program. Archetype is a multisite CMS but what I am finding is that my resellers all have product niches they do well in. So they build one site for an industry and then target that one industry almost exclusively. This makes building the next site even easier.

What this turns into is website franchising. With Archetype its a couple clicks to create a new site so you can focus your development efforts on a few features that matter to an industry and then reuse that work over and over.

There's no database or server management that is all taken care of. Let me know if you want a demo.

Also it does have multi language support as well but its not super easy to work with as it hasn't been used much.

At the very least it would be good to get feedback on what you'd want in a website hosting and CMS. Cheers!

The initial fee for a business making 10k per month would be high to begin with. That's before accounting the monthly fee you have to pay to continue be a franchisee.

I guess the statement that gets me is you want to get a business thats already making that kind of money for a 'limited time and money budget'. Maybe you're offering a small investment and a lot of your skills and capabilities to complement the business to compensate?

Maybe clarify that part a bit more.

Edit: why not just offer to be a cofounder outright :)
