Worst: I postponed firing people. Those who you work with can make or break your business - especially when you're in the early and fragile stage of a startup. I spent too much time trying new management tactics, frustrated that I'm a bad manager, thinking I need to be more patient, etc, instead of realizing that there was no way for me to change their mindsets.
Best decision: aligning my values with the values of those around me - from business partners to clients, employees, friends, whatever. Stop wasting time with toxic people. It might sound like a cliche, but it's a big source of internal conflicts.
