Anyone with a data-related product built upon custom data they gathered?
Are there any Indie Hackers out there who have made a product primarily derived from custom data they have collected and curated?
For example, maybe you went to every baseball game, home and away, for your favorite baseball team for a year and collected arcane data; then made a product with the data. Maybe you tracked the migratory patterns of hummingbirds with some data collection devices. (OK, maybe you didn't do these things, but I hope this conveys the idea.) Maybe you conducted a phone survey. Maybe you took open source data sources. Maybe you leveraged subscription-based data sources.
(FWIW, I am not interested in examples in the domain of web user tracking or other such web metrics.)
This comes in very handy with Financial/Structured data.
I am doing similar things for crypto. (i.e Bloomberg of crypto)

Most form builders have an app creator like ZohoCreator.
If you dont mind UI, Metabase is a simple way to generate data products.
Also Google Studio/Amazon Quicksight

One of my first personal websites was called PlotTracker (not-online anymore). It was for TV shows (like Star Trek and X-Files), it allowed visitors to filter the TV shows based on the plot of specific episodes.
For example, for Star Trek you easily filter down to all episodes about time travel, and/or those that featured Klingons.
Yes I watched a lot of TV back then, still do :)

It was a long time ago (like 15 years ago), it was monitized by ads like most things back then :)
