Ask IH: Adyen vs Stripe

What are your experiences with Adyen and Stripe? When is which payment provider appropriate?
As a developer I prefer Stripe. Their documentation is much cleaner and the payment flow (with webhooks) is basically the same with different payment providers. It is easier to understand and implement.
Thanks. So I've heard. I guess I'll use the simplest / fastest way to get up and running for now and consider switching iff I'll have enough revenue for that to make sense.
Stripe's focus on developers pays off in this case :)
I have only used Adyen, through my work. I would say that Adyen definately works, but Stripe looks like it has a much better API and developer contact. I plan to use Stripe whenever I want to enable billing on my SaaS.
Adyen has more of a enterprise feeling about it imo, whilst Stripe has more of a startup feeling.
Go for Stripe. Adyen has horrible documentation and styling options. Stripe has always been a breeze.
When it comes to the thing that literally makes it possible for you to HAVE a business (charging customers), don't mess about.
