Do you know any good examples of videos showing how to use a product?
I have this small tool https://refjar.com. It connects to Pocket and finds online discussions for bookmarked articles. I created it because I like reading HN discussions.
Now I'm trying to let people know about it and I figured out that it could be great tool for doing research for journalists. Research flow would be like this:
- Bookmark some articles about the subject to your Pocket.
- Check discussions threads which you get from Refjar.
- Read discussions and bookmark articles that you found in these comments
- Repeat step number 1 for all these new articles.
I tried this flow with some random subject (plastic straws) and it works great, you get a lot of materials, interesting opinions, facts etc.
I'd like to share it to some journalist subreddits and I think it would be nice to show this as a video instead of text (or maybe not?). Do you have any good video examples for this kind of introductions?
This looks like a very useful tool! I could see why you'd want to share it with journalists. I personally would prefer a text description over watching a video, however. They're probably very good at reading ☺️.
