I have a SaaS company I started a decade ago...
The problem is that sometimes it owns me. I'm very proud of it but in some ways I've outgrown it and it's outgrown me.
It's about break even in terms of cash and makes about $300-400k per year right now.
I think it has a lot of legs left in it but it needs someone to take it into the intelligence community space and focus on government contracts. That's not my strong suit and I also have a few other projects I'm more interested in working on...
How do I go about finding a new home for it without it being a massive undertaking?
Should I just start cold emailing people?
Contact FE International and they'll handle everything for you.
Go to FE International. I had a great experience with them.
We did but oddly they wanted our revenues to look really stellar and growing at which point I would just raise angel/seed.
I've acquired and sold a bunch of SaaS businesses. Happy to discuss this with you (it might be of interest to us as well)
I put my email in my profile... What's the best way to contact you?
hello, congrats on your success in building something that has legs. Does $300-$400K mean revenue before costs? Expenses are about the same? Where is the cash going towards? What would the new owner need to be - an engineer? marketer? admin?
thanks,
$300-400k total revenue. About break even in terms of profitability. Major costs are engineering and hardware.
I think we have a great opportunity to compete in enterprise data to help out intelligence agencies (governments, NATO, etc) but that's not my background so I need a new partner here.
