I have been lurking for way too long. I've been making projects for over 10 years. But I mostly kept behind curtains. It’s a powerful feeling to deploy, put it out there, but then it’s about actual humans that use the stuff we make.
I’d like to invite you to test my latest project. It’s a Telegram chatbot which checks Domain Expiration Dates and tracks them. So you will be notified of their expiration (whether you own the domain or not).
I also wrote an article about the way this project came to be and how I launched it in less than 10 hours.
The Website: https://domainwatch.club
The Article: https://medium.com/@spieglio/10-hours-to-launch-domainwatchbot-1008f6c5947e
I am curious to hear what you guys have to say about the project. I am hopeful that it’s useful for some of you (as we all probably have too many domains spread across too many registrars). And I am definitely going to keep making more (and sharing this time around).
Cheers,
Chris
Not working for me on firefox. I get redirected to "tg://resolve?domain=DomainWatchBot" and Firefox doesn't know what to do with tg protocol.
Thank you for this feedback @Mopimoi. I actually can't reproduce in my Firefox Quantum installation it is working. Maybe you disallowed the opening of this type of URL at some point?
If you still want to try, you can also search for the bot in Telegram itself: @DomainWatchBot is the username.
Cheers,
Chris
It was a Firefox issue... solved here : https://www.reddit.com/r/firefox/comments/6p6470/firefox_doesnt_recognize_telegramdesktops_tg_link/
Thanks for this insight. I wasn't aware - good to know that it's fixed by now.
