Looking for a Founder Buddy.

So the main issue I see with this kind of solution is teaming up total strangers to work together on what might be the most important thing in their lives.

How to get some social proof first?

For example, how could this person be referred to me from my direct network?

Or how about somehow matching people instead of projects?

I hope you know what I mean. How to get the initial level of trust first.

I actually am not an expert on how to market and get the product out there. I would definitely try my best to get it on hackernews from ycombinator and hope someone likes it. I actually gave this product a good bit of thought after I seen it, I think this is a great of example of perfect execution in terms of the product, you didn't make me sign up to view, it was very easy to use with great UX, probably the best I've seen for founder-matching(hacking), because it was driven from the idea first rather than finding a partner. I mean in terms of execution of see'ing a commonly sought after product and making it happen , you've done that with an A+, but you've also built a product that could potentially be great at solving the problem, but is solving that problem with perfect execution going to lead to a product that can provide you with a good MRR to sustain the effort..... I mean I think quickly getting just the simple filter of "need help with" and the ability to select multiple tags like which fit the skills that someone brings, would go a long way without a seriously complex filter. Other than that maybe finding someone who can help you promote this and make it go viral is where majority of the effort would be best spent?

Once again you've executed on this idea with near perfection in terms of solving the problem, but now it's focusing on the other hard parts of bootstrapping a product. I mean i think everyone who is a user of your site most definitely wants to see it become a go to product for this niche, maybe come up with a way to get each user who has posted a job to share a link on twitter, as a way to help get them get more potential candidates..Or find a way to provide a reward for people who do share it.
