I've read alot that you should "go" for it even before your ready, whatever that means.
We've been working on our MVP for around 5 months now - I know we are close, but I also have so much I want to make better. How do you make the cut off and just go for it?
As long time developers, the marketing part is always the struggle for us, so our rough little plan is to setup an affiliate program (shareasale or similar) to get some promoting done for us. In addition we have a content strategy planned and will do some paid traffic.
We vetted our product as it solved our own use cases in affiliate marketing, and we really believe there is a market for that, but really have not done the leg work to prove it.
TIA for any input - I'm not even ready to share our link yet. (Is that wrong?)
@ChrisVQ, What goes in an MVP design is driven by two factors-
Thanks @shashank this we have thought about alot, and it comes down to us wanting to see that other people in the same industry, affiliate site owners, have the same problems as us. The product solves a few, but not all of our own internal issues, which I think constitutes the price of using, but only one way to find out!
You won't, in fact there's a high chance you'll discover hidden issues only after someone actually uses it. Might as well go for it!
Thanks @BlueLobster we're making it our goal to launch at end of month, everything is getting put into the future feature column :-)
