Use Quantcast to check pageviews / visitors / demographics of some popular websites

We are building websites and we are always curious about traffics of other websites. E.g., what kind of traffics can make a website break into Alexa top 1000?

Turns out, many top websites are using Quantcast to measure their traffics -- like Google Analytics, but it's public (they can choose to be private though).

For example:

https://www.quantcast.com/measure/yelp.com

https://www.quantcast.com/measure/buzzfeed.com

Don't be scared by the big numbers. There are hundreds (even thousands) of people working on those top websites & they've been in business for over a decade.

This is the traffic for my site ListenNotes.com -- way smaller numbers :) https://www.quantcast.com/listennotes.com
