Ask/Show IH: How important is relative regional pricing?
This is in the context of trying to figure out optimal pricing points, for each country available on the Play Store, but I guess it really applies to any service, with a potentially global customer base.
- If at all, how do you decide on pricing points for different countries?
To try to answer the question myself, I've put together a small calculator type thing (https://burgonomic.rhardih.io), based off of the Big Mac Index (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Big_Mac_Index).
The list of countries available in the source data, is far from exhaustive though and the numbers are dated back to June.
I don't know if this is the best way to answer the question, but I'm curious to know what other IH does in this regard or if it's maybe even a non-issue.
