Hey guys just wanted to share some insights,
I own the digital agency called GRADEXI and I have worked with many clients before helping them to create visual content for their marketing campaigns, designing websites for conversions etc. I have put together few best practices to make your company stand out and convert! If this helpful for even one of you guys hustling your way up the ladder I will be happy.
Video
Video is a great way to communicate your company values and the solutions that you offer to your client. Many people make a mistake when they create a company video. They talk a lot about the company how amazing they are, what features their product has etc.
What they fail to communicate is addressing their potential customer pains and how this amazing product will solve their problems and most importantly make them feel. When creating videos for your ads or social media...next time... think about your customer . How does he feel right now. What are his challenges? What are his pains and what does he want and need ? Bottom line is focus on the emotion part of the spectrum. People are emotional beings. That way you can create great video just for your target market which converts!
Promotional materials and design & UI/UX
Visual Consistency
I cannot stress this enough. It is a common sense. You should keep the same visual identity and style everywhere. On your website, promotional materials, E-mails, ads videos etc.
When your customer for example sees your ad or visual and clicks through it, It is vital that your website is designed with the same visual identity. The same goes with any other of your platforms ( Linkedin, Instagram, Facebook... you get the point). This way you come across as a serious company and avoid confusion.
Keep it simple
I know your product is amazing...you love it...want to tell the world a lot about it but....And Obviously you know a lot about your product but please keep it simple for your customers sake. You want to be as clear as possible communicating your product values and addressing solutions for customer pains. This applies for all of your visuals, Inforgraphics, social media, website or video. Think about your customer as if they were " mentally disabled " :D . I know it sounds bad and I love our customers. It is not their fault. They just dont know anything about you before you tell them through your website or visuals. For that reason, when they visit your website or see your visuals, video etc. Try to tell them only the most important info that they need to buy from you. To communicate your values and solutions for their problems clearly.
UX/UI
I am not gonna talk about that your website should look professional and be beautifully designed because that is a must nowadays. To be able to convert, again you need to make it clear and simple to understand and address what is it that you do the best and how can you solve your customers problems and how will they feel when you are finished with them.
Your website should be easy to navigate and responsive. Dont be scared to ask people to buy. You should have at least two buy now or get started call to actions on your website. I advice you to put even 3-4 on your website. I have seen some beautifully designed websites with clear explanation of product but when I wanted to purchase I was like: Wut?! No pricing section or buy now or whatever...Again, dont be scared to ask for money and place the goddamn call to actions everywhere.
Here is some nice example of the website:
Landing page:
What do you do that your customers cant live without in sentence + offer something for free and solve their small problem. This way you build trust and position yourself as a mentor for them. It increases the probability they will buy from you now or in the future.
Address their pains and explain how your product will solve their pains and make them feel in a simple steps
Referrals!
This assures your customers that people have good experience with you. People are social beings. They dont want to be alone in it and when they see somebody is thriving with your product they will want to join the ride as well.
Portfolio
This is crucial. Customers need to see what you have done for other people. Would you buy from a company if you didnt see what they sell. I bet no. So include your amazing portfolio on your website.
How does it work section.
At this point people who actually have the pain and want to buy will be like: All right I like it so far but what is going to be the process from start to an end. I am scared and need reassurance. They need to see the whole process from start to an end. This also helps with the emotional side of things. How will your product make them feel when you solve their problem?
FAQ
In this section clarify everything they might want to ask for. Remember people are lazy and if somebody explains better what they do or addresses customer concerns, they are gonna buy from that company.
Dont forget footer. It should include all links for the simple navigation on the website. You put in the footer everything that hasnt fit into navigation menu.
After all this you should have their e-mail and even if they dont buy from you now... you can e-mail market them.
PS: I know there are other sections you should like contact us, footer etc. but I will leave that up to you...
I hope this helped at least one of you and if you have any questions then pm me personally or comment down and I will anwser all of your questions and try to help!
All the best!
