Your abandoned/failed project graveyard
I was digging around for an old file and came across an archive folder with a virtual graveyard of past failed projects.
My favourite was "Gigpig" a live music listing. Built with a couple of mates during uni.

Others:
- swift: meeting planning a recording
- brainbox: chat bot for saving bookmarks
- metrowe: windows phone app to track who you owe money
- hirebox: automatic recruitment pipeline based off an email address
- brewflow: home brewing recipe tool
- pollfu: simple online polls
- phonealytics: windows phone google analytics app
A couple of those ideas (mainly hirebox and brewflow) I think could have made it had I stuck with them and may still be viable.

Taleship - world finalist in MSFT imagine cup, a combination of Hurricane Maria destroying my country and a loss of passion led me to stop working on it. (currently writing a postmortem)
Alphasquare - a small social network for developers, like a twitter for dev discussion. Never went too far, but had a few active users. Lack of time led me to stop.
Mxious - music discovery community, never finished it. Still on GitHub somewhere and every once in a while I toy around with the idea of bringing it back up. (I just looked it up and man I love the design, it draws me back to work on it)
I have so many! I think my favourite was reviewmy.mp, a site to review members of parliament for things other than their politics. I thought it would be nice to be able to review members based on things like activity in their area, responsiveness to emails/phone calls, whether they promote policies for their area or just do what their party says.
The other one I'm still half working on is a tool for tracking all of the software licenses, subscriptions and other things that I've purchased in bundles or sales and then never really use. So many good tools floating around that I forget I own.
Open government is a great idea.
