Launching a hardware dev resources platform
I am launching this platform which I have been working on for the past 6 months! I wonder what you guys think and if there are any hardware enthusiasts in the community. :)
The problem I am trying to address is that when I want to make a hardware device I often find myself in 4 or 5 different tabs at once, one with an instruction set or similar technical reference open, another looking at code samples in an instructable, a third in a datasheet search engine and the fourth trying to find where I can buy that part I don't have yet. The idea of this platform is to put code samples, datasheets, purchasing options and simple explanations of what parts do in one accessible place.
My background is in electronics, just finishing up my double major in CS and Physics. This was originally an idea that one of my lab instructors thought of and he now uses it with students in some of his labs.
Some struggles so far: how to expand the user base beyond the school? How to find contributors to the platform besides me and my friends?
