Need feedback on my upcoming product idea

Hi Everyone,

I am half way in building a product which is similar to pockets. It is actually an URL shortener service, but it has few features similar to pockets. When user creates alias with his customized words, he don't need to visit the website again while in the case of pockets, user must go to his account to find. Also, user can view analytics, manage all of his links with tags etc.... I do not want to charge users, instead want to monetize with ads.

I need feedback on this idea whether it can sustain in the long run?
