My first bootstrapped SaaS
Hi IH community!
I've been a lurker for awhile an am always in awe of the successes, small and large, that I read about here. At long last, I've launched an SAAS side project of my own, "WriteFlow" (https://getwriteflow.com)
This project has been instrumental in teaching me many things in being an entrepreneur. The way I see it, things are just starting. So much more for me to learn in marketing it and making improvements. I almost fell victim to feature creep and may never have launched, but I'm glad I decided on an MVP and stuck to it. From what I hear, this is a better approach then building features or an massive product that no one actually wants.

I have seen some minor problems on your landpage, but what i really missing is that I really don't know how your app actually looks. If clicked on a Learn How it works and read about something like drag n drop funcionality I really like to see how it works. Maybe you can record a short video with subtle music behind it, or add some screenshots ;)

For Citationsy (https://citationsy.com) I made a screencast and turned it into a sped-up GIF. It’s only 1.3MB and plays automatically on all devices (embedded videos don’t autoplay on phones).
It's actually too fast I had to watch it multiple times to see what is going on.

I like the name
I’m not a fan of the big header image. It looks a bit grainy/blurry, can you find something higher resolution? Maybe a photo that feels less stock-photo-y?
I don’t yet understand what exactly the point of WriteFlow is? The only differentiating factor I can see are the templates? A screenshot of an example would go a long way.
the page feels extremely zippy and fast, good job! Very impressive. It could use some small design improvements though to make it feel a bit more polished.

2-5. I'll definitely put some thought into what you've said. I think I was on hour 36 of no sleep when I made the pricing page. It could definitely use some tweaks. I kind of came up with what I thought was a fair price based on some input from some parents I know, who say they would gladly pay X dollars for a tool like this if it helps their kids do better in school. A-B testing prices is something I'd like to do soon. While I definitely understand comparing prices for online services to Netflix and Google, I feel their competition models and supply and demand aspects are very different and that plays a large part. But will definitely take it all into account for testing.
