Feedback: A new messaging app
My messaging app is about giving conversations more structure.
Is more group-oriented (even though a group of 2 is still a group :) )
What I want to achieve is giving groups tools to make conversations more structured and easy to use.
Right now, on WhatsApp or Telegram we can have big conversations and finding the right information is difficult. As an example, a group about organizing weekly soccer matches. There are patterns there like: teams, pitch to rent and its location, date and time of the match, confirmed people etc.
So why not giving to these groups the right tools to make conversations easier and better?
So my hypotheses are:
- People in groups need a better structured and tools in their conversations
- People in groups will use the tools besides still talking to each other

Beside events which other use cases can the app have. This question can help you in terms of marketing to narrow your app as an "events chat app" sounds like something worth trying.
This is great advice. Find a much smaller subset that it provides LOADS of value for, and then when that works really well, move onto the next nearest.
I mean it kind of makes sense, seems like a huge hurdle to introduce another group messaging app. You have to get the whole group on it for it to work, and I'm not sure this is that big of a problem. People aren't really complaining about it are they?
I wish you best of luck, but I see this as a hard sell even if you solve the technical problem. The switching costs are high for users and you're probably only making their group chat lives 2% better
