When I hover over the link it's very difficult to read.
Have you considered a dark theme? Dark themes make images pop more. A good example is the new YouTube dark theme or Netflix.

Like the site! A little "busy" with copy for artists. I would go with a very visual artsy landing page with simple bold wording or copy The Complete resource center designed by artists for artists! Then some sort of enter button. The next page could be a very simple yet elegant Table of Contents or categories. From there it can be more copy or info driven. From analytics point this will help you see more of what is working. The amount of products you offer is amazing but because you have so many and all are on home page menu it makes it seem cluttered. Hope this helps!

I would just draw it on a piece of paper. Using basic squares and rectangles much like a wire frame or magazine/catalog design. Make sure your most profitable or best selling item is banner like featured. The target is artists who much prefer form over function but if the function is clearly laid out it makes search easier. I like to look at what Apple and Adobe are doing as far as design or layout because in my opinion they are really above in this area.
