Looking for people to join my small team
Hi all!
Long time lurker, you’ve all inspired me. I’ve been running a side business for a few months but decided to launch another one! This one is a SaaS, as opposed to the other which was widgets development.
I’m a full stack developer working full time, and dedicated my off hours to working on this new SaaS, learning from my previous mistakes as inspiration.
Are you interested in joining me in this journey? Profit sharing equally!
Here’s what I bring to the table:
- strong development skills
- managerial skills (currently team development lead)
- test driven development, DRY principles
- various languages (HTML/CSS, JavaScript, PHP, Go, Typescript, and some moderate C++ experience)
- a brilliant catchy brand name and domain
- JIRA, Bitbucket, CircleCI, and Slack integrations and @invocie.com email address (G Suite)
Our stack:

PHP 7.2 backend running Lumen serving as an API

angular 5 on the front end, with custom code allowing parallel execution on rendering (bringing our rendering speed up dramatically)
What/who I’m looking for (more than 1 person):

someone with sales or marketing experience

someone with design or UX experience

someone with development in angular or PHP experience, or neither with a desire to learn

We’re aiming for a stable beta by end of month, and a launch come June or July. A lot of the ground work is underway, I’ve also registered a legal entity (federal business) in Canada (where I reside), and the appropriate HST/GST taxation numbers.

I’m not sure if I’d be willing to hop onto another project, but maybe you could talk about what niche it’s in? And perhaps the overall problem you’re trying to solve with it?
Will it be to your existing customers?
As a side note, I’m in Canada and have thought about putting together a mastermind of people in the same-ish time zones. So there’s that too :)

It'll be to existing and new customers we're hoping to acquire. The overall problem is due to a personal issue I had, I had created a personal prototype a few months ago, and when my customers saw it they were interested in what I was using so they could use it - so I opened light access for free to get some market input, I went around various places doing a demos and seemed to get a good interest in it, and asked my existing customers on my other side business, they gave overall positive feedback and indicated they would pay for it. So, I'm turning it into a real and full proper project.
