What should be the marketing plan for a B2B SaaS Product

We recently rewrote our B2B SaaS product, and we are getting very good feedback from our existing customers.

We so far concentrated only on the development part and recently updated our landing page (https://cryptlex.com).

What are the marketing tools we should be using, so that we connect to the right people and grow our startup? We have tried following tools so far:

HubSpot, Drift, Adwords

Any suggestions about what we should be doing to promote our product?

So basically, what you're asking is...

    • What's the best way to reach your target audience?
    • How do you tailor those tactics for your business?
    • Are there better ways for you to reach your audience than the tactics you've tried so far?

Those are all questions that no one will know the answer to...except your customers.

You need to go talk to your customers to find the answers. Talk to at least 10 of them.

If you can visit them in-person, go do that. Otherwise, get on the phone with them.

These videos should help you form a plan:

      Love this advice!

I think during every Indie Hackers journey, we start off thinking that innovation (ie. building the product) is the hard part and distribution (ie. finding customers) is the easy part.

BUT along the way, each of us realize that innovation is the easy part and that distribution is 100x harder than expected!

Thanks for the resources too - I'm giving it a listen later today, especially the one with Louis since I just started using Hotjar for my project (www.tribefive.me for reference) and love all the insights his product has given me about my landing page.

      Cheers,
      Jonathan

Thanks, Jonathan! You're sooooo right - distribution is really tough.

Louis is brilliant, and such a nice guy :) Make sure to grab that "marketing strategy template" he mentions -- there's a link to it just below the video on that page!

        TribeFive looks super cool, BTW.

I think you need case studies and tutorials.
