Yes, I launched recently a Patreon ( https://www.patreon.com/gladysproject/overview ), and each tier gives you some perks: access to a private Discord, and soon some additionnal features around Gladys :)
Nice work. I read your twitter and you’re spot on about how it’s not something that happens overnight. My highest grossing service has been doing $1100/mo this year. Not quite minimum wage yet but just like you it really didn’t start making money until this year, which is its third year. Before that it was doing around $60/mo.
$60/mo to $1100/mo is quite insane. Mind sharing how you achieved that kind of growth?

Hi! Really good question.
The goal of Gladys is to have a 100% open-source and self-hosted home automation solution. Gladys runs on a Raspberry Pi, and everything stays at home, it's not a cloud based solution.
So in terms of privacy/security, nobody sees your data, you own everything!
I just distribute the software :)
