Frenchmen love reading in french about side projects and new startups.
You also have a lot of interest for side projects and new startups in France today (STATION F in Paris is one of the World's biggest startup campus) and you can now find lots of new small and motivated companies in Paris.
Makers and indie hackers in France are also really passionnate and launch a lot of projects that you can miss if you're not that good reading english (yep, that's quite common, at least in France).
