Does our idea have merits?

We're toying with the concept of a Buyers Agent Portal to assist those who are time poor in picking the correct Buyers Agent for a specific city / town / country / region in order to buy the "right" property/ investment property for themselves. We see a large proportion of specialty realtors that do this at the moment however referrals usually travel by word of mouth rather than via an online review / search platform.

For those who are unsure what a buyers agent is: it's typically someone who knows the market incredibly well and can often pick and negotiate below market prices for a closed door sale of a property.

The core platform would revolve around metrics to review buyers agents while rating companies based on aggregates ratings of their agents. This includes being able to view their recently acquired properties and review their market and negotiation skills.

we see lots of use cases where those who are time poor and are overseas rely heavily on advocates (buyers agents) to get a great deal on their behalf and are happy to spend the money on advocates to do so. We believe this platform could stand as an intermediary to "get in contact with an advocate".
