Show IH: Lyrink - Find the best song chords, lyrics and tabs (spotify integration)
Hi,
I have created an app to solve a problem I have with finding songs to play on my guitar/ukulele. You can login with your Spotify account and get some suggestions based on your listening history, and also import playlists.
I wanted to create a website that is lightweight, more accessible and less invasive for the user. Existing chords/tabs websites can be a real pain to use.
I have not done any marketing or SEO work, just that MVP that works for me, but I would like to ask the community on how I could approach launching and potentially monetising it.
I worked on a feature that generates printable songbooks that people could order but I am concerned about copyright and legal issues, any comment on that would be welcome. Although if the user owns the content they print or agrees on respecting copyright work, it could be a non-issue. In the end, Lyrink is just a search engine and content formatter.

Nice, looked up a few songs and found what I was looking for.
The Spotify option seems nice although it made me think twice. It looks like those oAuth2 authentications which you can do with Google and Facebook (which many of us for unknown reasons trust). I didn't know Spotify was offering this as well..
I would suggest that you put a link (if any) where Spotify tell us about it so I/we can feel safer to login with our Spotify credentials.
