Super happy to share Investment Calculator → We built this tool because we had no idea where we were at in terms of retirement, and neither did our friends. Part of the problem was that online investment tools are outdated and plagued with retirement jargon so we decided to build one that is beautiful and clear.
- Find out when you become a millionaire
- Personalized suggestions for saving by leveraging Airbnb, Uber, tax refund, and giving up coffee for a year
- Calculations for every year separated into Conservative and Aggressive investing
- Retirement lifestyle -> see if you'll be living on a strict or robust budget when you retire

Looks very nice. Are you planning to monetize it? If so, how?
When we started this, we wanted to keep it a free tool with a designed space for ads. There might be some opportunity with affiliates (airbnb, uber, etc) in the savings tips section as well.

Great website! I was looking for something similar to calculate how much I would have at the end of X years if I would to signed up for a regular savings plan. Would be good if we could also have the ability to modify the % of the annual returns on investment.

It looks beautiful, but as a developer you should know, that giving up coffee for a year is impossible. No code would ever get written!
The formula for code is
coffeToCode = (coffee) => { return code }
so clearly we see, this is detrimental to my job and potential savings from it!
In all seriousness, I really like it. It serves its purpose and looks great doing it.
Completely right. Giving up coffee and/or bourbon might have an adverse effect on how much you can save...Definitely need a disclaimer ;)
Hi Caleb, very interesting tool. I'd add rate of return assumption for aggressive and conservative investments near the chart. It would be great if you could provide this as widget. I am working on a project that helps DIY investor track & monitor their investments (https://www.portfoloo.com) and I can see how this would help our users.
