What do you guys think about this funnel?

Hi Guys,

My problem: I'm doing paid youtube sponsorship ads for my software business. It's working good, but I feel like my numbers are bad and could be improve. I received from 1 video 100 visits and out the 100 people that visit the direct landing page, only 4 people signed up. So I got a 4% conversion rate. The trial requires a credit card to start the trial. The trial to paid is around 80%.

My potential solution to increasing the conversion rate from 4% to maybe 10% would be instead of sending people to the saas homepage. I'm thinking about sending them over to an automated webinar which would then leads over to a trial page. so it would look like this ( Youtube sponsorship --> Webinar -- > Trial Page ).

What do you guys think about this funnel?

Do you think it would improve the conversion rate?

    Hey,

That’s a decent funnel if you’ve got the time and energy to create it. Video rarely works as well as it could on the first try and is hard to edit.

The problem is people may not want to watch video. I prefer reading for a number of reasons so you’d need text there too.

I’d say create specific landing pages for each YouTube sponsorship. Yes, it’s work but you’ll see better conversion rates.

Or conversely, you can try a single landing page for YouTube traffic and test it until you get the messaging right.

It’s never a good idea to dump paid traffic on the homepage unless it’s been optimized for that specific traffic source.

Also, you may want to consider giving the YouTuber a slight discount for their audience. Maybe a percentage off the first month.
