Ask IH: What is your favorite Wordpress Theme for a Landing Page?

I am looking to re-launch a website I have had since 2003. I wanted to focus on the content rather than program something from scratch. I was listening to episode 17 of the IH podcast and came across the Landing Page Guide by Julian

I found an html template that follows this

But I have not found a wordpress theme that follows this and also provides for a display of blog articles.

What Wordpress theme do you use and would recommend?

  I am looking for a theme similar to the above for my site nextlesson.com I have wanted to do something with the site since I bought it back in 2003. This time around I really want to focus more on delivering value rather than playing with the tech stack
