What do you think of leapin.eu?

What is your opinion about leapin.eu?
Does anyone have personal experience with it?

I'm based in EU and I'm seriously considering it. I gave up on Delaware LLC after the helpful answers in another thread I opened.

For the ones who have done it (or know people doing it), how do you deal with local taxes (in home country)? Do you report the income?

This is a great service. I really like the price and packages they are offering. You can also setup a company in Dubai using Millennium, http://www.millenniumbs.com/business-set-up-services/

Have you tried LeapIN or Millennium yourself?

Do I need to pay the shared capital within a year? I'm confused about this. Does this mean I need to pay 2500 EUR in order to get dividends?

"The limitations regarding share capital payment (2500 EUR) are:
If the share capital payment is not done:
the company cannot pay dividends to founders
the company cannot increase or decrease share capital
The payment of the share capital must come from the company founder. The payment cannot be derived from company revenues, settled via salary payouts to employees etc.
Until the founder has not paid for the share in full, he/she is liable towards the company for the obligations of the company"

How long does the whole procedure take?

I've been a customer for a few months, so far so good.
You still have to report the income in your home country and pay your local income tax.
My plan is not to pay myself any personal income from that company and keep everything reinvested in the business

Do they handle setting up bank accounts etc?

      1. 1

No, they just register the company.
Then you can setup a bank account at a real bank (eg LHV) but need to travel to Estonia.
Otherwise you can create a bank account online with a fintech (eg Transferwise, Revolut etc)

          Ah I understand! Thanks!

    2. 1

If I understand correctly, if you invest it in the business and don't draw any personal income, the tax that you have to pay in Estonia is 0%? Is that correct?

      1. 1

        yes
And from my understanding, taxes in estonia are 20% all in if you pay yourself a dividend

How much is the cost for the first year approximately (including everything)?

      1. 1

In my memory around 250€ for setup + 100€ per month

How do you plan on getting the money out in the end?

Spend 1 year as a fiscal resident in a tax friendly location
