People making a physical product for their business, what are you working on?
I know this place tends to lean towards software based startups and other companies, people building either websites or SaaS as their main product line. Are there any people here working on a physical product? Perhaps tied to software or just a standalone item? What is it that you're working on?
As for me, I'm starting a small business out of a custom PC case of my own design. It is a very small but versatile case, able to either hold a discrete single slot expansion card, or a regular mini ITX build (CPU or APU based). It can support builds used for budget gaming, HTPCs or even lightweight workstations.
My side project is a 20-week pocket planner. It's sort of a little bit field notes, and a little bit personal Agile sprint planner, if that makes any sense. https://twentyweeks.com/
Lots of lessons learned here for me personally (as a non-developer), including a minimalist landing page stack (Poole+Github Pages) with Shopify Lite + Stripe for the shopping cart and payment gateway. Good fun so far.
I'm working on a physical product concept which would act as a monetization strategy for an app. App & physical product are closely connected.
