Show IH: A mentoring service designed for lifelong learning

Hello fellow Indie Hackers!

I've been boostrapping this mentoring service for about three months now. I'd love to know your feedback about the site, and especially, if this would help you build your project in any way. Link to the project: https://ownpath.xyz/

I currently have three customers who've signed for a subscription, primarily to learn design.

I'm building this for two reasons:

• The frustration of not having gone to a great school, and missing out on interacting with and working with interesting people.
• The dream of having access to a more accessible, affordable, and experiential alternative to the current higher education system.

With 'accessible', I'd like to prioritize:

• Work samples over standardized tests, for getting in
• Interacting and developing working relationships with industry experts, over academics
• Mentoring over video, especially for people with geography, time, and family constraints. Instead of physical buildings

With 'experiential', I'd like to prioritize:

• Learning methods that are designed around practice, collaboration, and iteration. Instead of competition.
• Testing as a method to improve learning, and not merely as assessment.
• Portfolios over certificates and degrees.
