Feedback Round 2: Pagecase instant landing pages for freelancers and devs
First off, thank you to the Indie Hackers that gave me advice on the last version of my side project. A few comments were on my lack of a niche for my product, which I am trying to fix now. So here goes:
Pagecase is for freelancers (developers, consultants, designers) who don’t have a website, even though they have a domain name and ftp storage purchased. It’s a tiny website builder that generates a profile/landing page on the spot. Users fill out their info and presto, the page is ready for download as a single index.html file. It should cover their basic needs until they launch that awesome Wordpress/Vue/React portfolio they’ve been working on.
The initial launch was a disaster, since Firebase Hosting had a major outage on the morning I launched. Apologies to those who visited the site and stared at a blank screen. Fingers crossed it works better this time:
Hey, I wanted to tell you that I just tried your page builder for a project of mine.
The on-boarding and usage experience was great, but the result was a little bit too frugal, in other words I still need to work on the page to make it production ready.
I really loved many other aspects of your project, including the logo which I found amazing.
I think you're on a winning use case if you could expand the features of the builder to cover a little bit more, basically enough for someone to have a fully functioning landing page.
