Are you buy software or use it for free?

Pirating software when working for a business is just going to come back to bite you, possibly at the worst possible time. Don't do it. You wouldn't want people to do it to you.

That being said, there are generally free alternatives. They probably aren't exactly what you need, but they'll give you something decent. It's up to you as a small business owner to figure out what you'll spend money on, what you'll use a free version of, and what you'll do without. It's probably one of the hardest parts of this gig.
